This hat is adorable and extremely comfortable. The fabric is soft, lightweight and fits my head perfectly. There is a hard ring, possibly plastic,around the brim (it does not touch the head) to give it structure, so it wouldn't be comfortable to lay in. The hat arrived very quickly, wrapped nicely in tissue. I wore it to church and received quite a few compliments. I have the brown and the color is very true to the color in the picture. I love it and will probably buy another color or two!
