I want to make your shopping experience as easy as possible. I offer several ways to place an order, and several payment options. Please choose the method that is easiest and most comfortable for you.
Order online:
Browse our online store, select your items, and check out when you’re ready. It’s that easy!
Order by phone:
Browse our online store, select and write down the items you’d like to purchase, (make sure to note color and size) and call me at 1-877-838-6151 Toll Free. Please call between 8:00 am and 8:00pm, Pacific time. If you get my voice mail, please tell me how late I can call you back, and please include your time zone.
Feel free to call or email if you have any questions about any of the items in our store, or if you would like me to make suggestions or recommendations for you or for a gift. You can even send a photo of yourself or the person you are bying for, and I can help you select the perfect item.

GIFT ORDERS
If the "Ship To" and "Bill To" information are different, I will assume that the order is a gift, and I will not include price tags on the item or the invoice. All orders are wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon, with a thank-you note, saying it is from you. If you would like me to say something special, please write it in the comments box at check out or email me when you place the order.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or Pay Pal for all online orders. Pay Pal also accepts American Express, Echeck, and personal checks if you have an account set up with them. When ordering by phone, I accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal check or money order. When paying by check or money order, your order will be shipped as soon as your check clears.

RETURN POLICY
I hope you are delighted with your order. If any item does not meet your expectations, I will give you a full, no hassle refund or exchange. It's really pretty simple:
Please email me or phone within 7 days of receiving your order, and let me know what items you will be returning, and ship your return within 14 days of receiving your order. If this timeframe creates a hardship on you due to not feeling well or other reasons, just let me know. If your order came in a box, please use a box for the return. Use whatever shipping method is easiest for you.(US Mail, UPS, etc) Insurance and delivery confirmation is optional, but please keep in mind that I cannot be responsible for items that do not reach me.
All merchandise must be completely new and unworn, with all tags intact. All items must be free of loose hairs, make up, perfume and other odors. Items must not be stretched out, soiled, laundered or altered.
Items that do not meet the above standards will be returned to you.
If a return is made due to an error on my part, I will send you the correct item along with prepaid postage to return the incorrect item.

REFUNDS
For credit card orders, a credit, less shipping charges, will be issued to your card within 5 days.
For check or money order purchases, I will send you a refund, less shipping charges, within 5 days.

At Hats, Scarves and More, your privacy and trust are guaranteed. Your information is secure and absolutely confidential. All personal information will be used solely to process your order. I will never phone or email you unless I have a question or important information regarding your order. I will not sell or share your information with anyone, ever.

SECURE SHOPPING
When you make an online purchase, your personal information and credit card number are sent to a secure server, Authorize.net, using Secure Socket Layer. (SSL)
SSL encrypts (converts) your information into codes that only Authourize.net can recognize. This allows your information to travel safely over the internet, without others accessing it. A padlock or unbroken key in the address bar or at the bottom right-hand corner of your browser window indicates that your connection to the server is secure. Sometimes this padlock does not appear until you go to check out. Hats, Scarves and More does not have access to your credit card number. To view our security certificate, click on the GeoTrust seal in the footer of the shopping pages.

CREATING AN ACCOUNT
When you check out, you will be given the option to create an account or check out without an account. If you create an account, your name and shipping information will be stored and automatically filled in the next time you shop with us, saving you the time and trouble of listing it again. Your credit card information is not stored with us.
SHIPPING
Domestic Shipping
Don’t you hate high shipping prices? Those so-called "handling fees" that can add 10-30% to your purchase? So do I!
At Hats, Scarves and More, I charge actual shipping prices only, based on the estimated weight of your order. With the exception of holidays and weekends, orders ship the next day, via USPS Priority Mail, which means you’ll receive your order in 2-3 days after it leaves here. (Spokane, WA) Post office boxes okay. If U.S. mail does not deliver to your address, please use a post office box or work address.
All items in our store, with the exception of hats that require a fairly large box, are under a pound. That means most orders ship anywhere in the U.S.A, including Hawaii and Alaska, for $4.90-$5.95. And you receive free priority mail shipping, every day, on orders over $100. Express Mail also available.
International Shipping
I am happy to ship orders internationally. With the exception of weekends and holidays, I ship orders the next day with no handling fees.
I offer Priority Mail International or Express Mail International. Prices are based on a minimum charge of up to 1 pound, but do not increase much for boxes over a pound.
Examples of international rates: Up to 1 pound
Great Britain: Priority Mail $28.00 (2 pound box $31.50) Express Mail $33.50
Canada: Priority Mail $20.00; Express $31.50
Australia: Priority Mail $27.50; Express $33.50
Small Flat Rate Box: Whenever possible, I will use a small Flat Rate Box, which is the size of a video tape. If you order one small item or a couple of scarves and I can fit them into a small flat rate box, the shipping rate would be $12.00-$13.45.
Place your order through the website. At check out, you will be charged the regular international rate. I will credit your card the difference before I send your package. To inquire in advance if your order will fit in a SFR box, feel free to contact me.

ORDERS AND BACKORDERS
I stock all items in all colors offered on our Website. Orders ship within 24-48 hours. I may run out of an item occasionally, in which case I will contact you via email and let you know when I expect to receive the backordered item(s). I can have most backordered items to you within a week. If your order contains mulitple items, I will usually ship the items I do have in stock, and ship the backorder at no shipping charge.
